Beach Food Pantry Thanksgiving Bags

The Outer Banks Beach Food Pantry serves folks from Duck, Southern Shores, Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, and Nags Head who need an emergency food supply.  Again this year, we are partnering with them in mission to provide Thanksgiving bags.  The items needed are listed below.  The cost for these items at Food Lion should be approximately $20-$25.  An optional gift for the bag is a $10 gift card for the client to purchase a turkey.

Please bring your bag to church Sunday, November 11^th.
Items for the bag include:

1 can each of corn, green beans and peas

1 can of sweet potatoes

1 bag mini marshmallows

1 can cranberry sauce

stuffing mix

1 jar gravy

1 can chicken broth

instant mashed potatoes

1 pie filling and a boxed crust

1 can of evaporated milk

1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup

1 can dried onions
