Thanksgiving Bags for Beach Food Pantry

Each year, the members of the Outer Banks community and Duck Church gather items for Thankgiving bags for those who need a little help. Below is a list of suggested food items you can put in your grocery bag. Don't feel obligated to get every item on the list because clients at the Beach Food Pantry will be able to pick and choose what their family will actually use.

Items to include:
Canned corn
Canned green beans
Canned peas
Canned sweet potatoes (large 40 oz. can)
Mini marshmallows
Canned cranberry sauce
Stuffing mix
Instant mashed potatoes
Gravy packet
Chicken broth
Canned pumpkin pie mix
Boxed pie crust
Canned evaporated milk
Cream of mushroom soup
Fried onions
Optional: $10 gift card for a turkey or ham

You can bring your non-perishable food donations to church Monday through Thursday, November 2nd-5th from 12-3 PM, or drop them off at the outdoor worship service on November 1st.
