All God’s Children UMC Angel Tree

Duck United Methodist Church loves serving in mission with All God's Children United Methodist Church in Aulander, NC. Located in rural Bertie County, Aulander is one of the poorest communities in North Carolina. For the past several years, Duck Church has partnered with the Place of Possibilities, an outreach ministry of All God's Children UMC, to provide Christmas gifts for children in their Leadership Academy.

After all worship services this Sunday morning, head to the Duck Church Fellowship Hall to pick up an Angel Tree ornament. This year, you have 2 different giving options:

• Purchase a toy, blanket, or $10 Walmart gift card for one of the Place of Possibilities Leadership Academy children. As part of their entrepreneurial training, the children will use the gift card to learn about budgeting and saving for a gift that they or their family member will enjoy. You can also purchase a gift for one of the Leadership Academy teachers.
• Provide a Christmas mug that will be distributed as a gift of God's love to people in the Aulander community.

The toy, blanket, and gift card need to be wrapped, but the mugs do not need to be wrapped. Please return all gifts with their ornaments.

All items are due back to Duck Church by Sunday, December 15th so the gifts can travel from the Outer Banks to Aulander.
