We Gather Together

We gather together
To ask the Lord's blessing
He chastens and hastens
His will to make known
The wicked oppressing
Now cease from distressing
Sing praises to His name
He forgets not His own

Beside us to guide us
Our God with us joining
Ordaining maintaining
His kingdom divine
So from the beginning
The fight we were winning
Thou Lord wast at our side
All glory be Thine

We all do extol Thee
Thou Leader triumphant
And pray that Thou still
Our Defender wilt be
Let Thy congregation
Escape tribulation
Thy name be ever praised
O Lord make us free

Morning Prayer

Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Your name
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
For Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen

In the help we give our neighbor

In our worldwide task of caring
For the hungry and despairing
In the harvests we are sharing
God's will is done

For the harvests of the Spirit
Thanks be to God
For the good we all inherit

For the wonders that astound us
For the truths that still confound us
Most of all that love has found us
