Duck United Methodist Church: Duck United Methodist Church:NEWDINNER 8 GROUPS FORMING
Our Dinner 8 Program has been a great success. We are continuing the Dinner 8 for the
Spring of 2010 with groups meeting February through May. If you are new to the church
or couldn’t previously participate, here’s how it works. We will pair up four couples/singles
for four months. Each couple/single will host one get-together. For example, the first
couple will host in February, the second couple will host in March, the third couple will
host in April, and the fourth couple will host in May. The get-together could be dinner or
lunch at the host’s home, Sunday brunch at a local restaurant, potluck dinner, dessert
coffee, bowling, anything that will promote fellowship and camaraderie.
We would also like to extend an invitation to our families in the church. If you would like
to include your children, we will have a sign-up for groups that would like to include
children. Please let us know when you sign up if you prefer an adult group or if you would
like to be in a family group.
You are limited only by your imagination. It’s a lot of fun, and a great opportunity to meet
and spend some time with folks in the church you may not know. Come join the fun!!
