We had haulers, bakers, buyers, order takers, cashiers, order fillers, chili servers, cleaners, hangers, sellers, cookers, wrappers.... Bless you all!
Our November general meeting will be held on Thursday, November 4, at 9:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Our Youth and Young Adult Pastor, Amy Brothers, will be speaking about her mission trips. Following her presentation, there will be an opportunity to write notes to missionaries in the field. Stationery will be supplied as will the addresses of mission workers.
We will also be filling shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. If you would like a list of suggested items for these boxes, you may contact Nancy Klahre.
The Christmas luncheon will be held on Thursday, December 2, at 12:00 noon at Duck Woods Country Club. Further information will be forthcoming to members. For reservations and information, please contact Mary Ann Milburn.
On a final note, a very few Coming Home cookbooks remain. If you are interested in purchasing one, please contact Rosalie Schwarz . We also have large, sturdy, canvas beach/shopping bags with a Shirley Ruff picture of the church imprinted on it. If interested, please contact Debbie Stanchina.
